🩸 Blood Donation Camp Organized by Rotaract Club – Don Bosco College (Co-Ed), Yelagiri Hills

A Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized at Don Bosco College (Co-Ed), Yelagiri Hills, on Friday, 25th July 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, under the initiative of the Rotaract Club of the college. The event was held at the Silver Jubilee Hall.

The camp was inaugurated by the Rector, Rev. Fr. Dr. Bosco Augustine SDB, who delivered the inaugural address. Principal Dr. L. Ravi congratulated and encouraged the students who voluntarily came forward to donate blood. The event was graced by Vice Principals, Rev. Fr. Charles Grace SDB and Rev. Fr. Arockia Berthouil SDB.

Faculty members, staff from Bosco Soft, students, and members of the public enthusiastically participated, emphasizing the importance of voluntary blood donation and creating awareness on its life-saving value.

The Rotary Club President, Mr. Abilash, along with members like Mr. Christuraj Leo, extended full support by providing necessary arrangements for the camp. A dedicated medical team from the Government Hospital, Tirupattur, was present to collect blood units from the donors.

The camp concluded successfully with several units of blood collected from students, staff, and employees of Bosco Soft, which are expected to benefit patients in need of urgent blood transfusions.

The event was effectively coordinated by Rotaract Club Animator Dr. Jayamary, Co-Animator Ms. Jayasree, and Dr. Nivetha from Tirupattur Government Hospital.

தொன்போஸ்கோ கல்லூரி (இருபாலர்), ஏலகிரி மலை, ரோட்டராக்ட் சங்கத்தின் சார்பாக ஜூலை 25, 2025 வெள்ளிக்கிழமை காலை 9:00 மணி முதல் பிற்பகல் 1:30 மணி வரை கல்லூரி வெள்ளி விழா அரங்கில் இரத்ததான முகாம் சிறப்பாக நடைபெறியது.

இந்நிகழ்விற்கு இல்லத்தந்தை அருட்தந்தை முனைவர் போஸ்கோ அகஸ்டின் ச. ச அவர்கள் தலைமை தாங்கி ஆசியுரை வழங்கினர். முதல்வர் முனைவர் லு. ரவி அவர்கள் இரத்ததானம் செய்ய முன்வந்த மாணவர்களுக்கு வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்தும், ஊக்கமளித்தும் பேசினார். துணை முதல்வர்கள் அருட்தந்தை சார்லஸ் கிரேஸ் மற்றும் ஆரோக்கிய பெர்துயில் ஆகியோர் நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்று சிறப்பித்தனர்.

பேராசிரியர்கள், போஸ்கோ சாஃப்ட் நிறுவன ஊழியர்கள், மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் பொதுமக்கள் திரளாக கலந்து கொண்டு தன்னார்வ இரத்ததானத்தின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணர்த்தும் விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்வாக இம்முகாம் அமைந்தது.

ரோட்டரி சங்கத் தலைவர் திரு அபிலாஷ், உறுப்பினர் கிறிஸ்துராஜ் லியோ மற்றும் குழுவினர் முகாமிற்கு தேவையான அனைத்து வசதிகளையும் செய்து வழங்கினர். திருப்பத்தூர் அரசு மருத்துவமனை சார்பில் வந்த மருத்துவக் குழு மாணவர்களிடமிருந்து இரத்தத்தை பெறும் பணியை மேற்கொண்டது.

நிகழ்வின் இறுதியில் மாணவர்கள், பேராசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் போஸ்கோ சாஃப்ட் ஊழியர்களிடமிருந்து இரத்த யூனிட்கள் பெறப்பட்டு, அவை அவசர இரத்த தேவையில் இருக்கும் நோயாளிகளுக்கு பெரும் பலனளிக்கும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

இம்முகாமை ரோட்டராக்ட் சங்கத் தலைவி முனைவர் ஜெயமேரி, துணைத் தலைவர் செல்வி ஜெயஸ்ரீ, மற்றும் மருத்துவர் நிவேதா (திருப்பத்தூர் அரசு மருத்துவமனை) ஆகியோர் ஒருங்கிணைத்து சிறப்பாக நடத்தினர்.
