The Seminar

The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Mrs. Priyadarshini, Coordinator of the Road Safety Club. Held under the blessings of the College Rector and Secretary, Rev. Dr. Bosco Augustine, the event was presided over by the Principal, Dr. L. Ravi.

  • Rev. Berdouil (Campus Minister): Spoke on the moral responsibility students have toward road safety.
  • Mr. Jayabalan (Guest Speaker): An Assistant Professor of Environmental Education, Mr. Jayabalan provided an insightful session on traffic regulations, specific safety measures, and the long-term impact of responsible driving.

The Rally and Awareness Drama

The awareness campaign moved from theory to action as students conducted a helmet-clad rally starting from the college campus. To bridge the gap with the local community, members of the Bosco Theatre Club staged an awareness drama, creatively illustrating the life-saving importance of following road rules.

The rally was further honored by the presence of Honourable Mrs. Baby, the Yelagiri Hills Police Inspector, who presided over the outdoor activities and commended the students for their initiative.

Conclusion

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. N. Karthik, Assistant Professor of Tamil and Coordinator of the Bosco Theatre Club. The seminar and rally saw active participation from first-year students, faculty members, and the local public, all of whom walked away with a better understanding of road safety protocols.
