Event Overview
The Department of Computer Science, Don Bosco College, Yelagiri Hills, successfully organized INTEGRA 2026, an Inter-Collegiate IT Symposium, on 05th February 2026, with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, faculty members, and invited guests.
INTEGRA stands for Innovation Network for Technology Growth and Research Advancement, reflecting the department’s vision to foster innovation, collaboration, and industry readiness among young technologists.
The symposium served as a dynamic platform for students to showcase their technical expertise, creativity, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking, while also enabling meaningful interaction with industry professionals. A total of 13 teams and 142 students from various colleges actively participated, making the event highly competitive, vibrant, and engaging.
Inaugural Ceremony
The Inaugural Function commenced promptly at 09:45 AM, marking the formal beginning of INTEGRA 2026.
The program began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Immanuvel S, Head of the Department of Computer Science, who graciously welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, participants, and students. In his address, he emphasized the importance of technical symposiums in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
This was followed by the Inaugural Address by Fr. Charles Grace, Vice Principal(Academic) who inspired the students with his insightful thoughts on discipline, innovation, and the role of technology in shaping a responsible and ethical future. His motivating words set a positive tone for the entire symposium.
Subsequently, Most Respected Principal Dr. Ravi Lourdusamy formally introduced INTEGRA 2026, highlighting:
Dr. Ravi Lourdusamy also released the official INTEGRA 2026 Event Brochure and ceremoniously handed it over to the Head of the Department, President, and Vice President, marking the official launch of the symposium.
Chief Guest Introduction & Address
The Chief Guest of the day, Mr. Balakumaran, Show Tech Global Solutions, USA, was introduced by Miss. S. Poovarasi, Vice President, who highlighted his professional achievements and extensive industry experience.

Technical and Non-Technical Competitions
Following the inaugural session, nine exciting technical and non-technical events were conducted throughout the day, witnessing enthusiastic participation from the 13 competing teams.

Each event was meticulously organized and evaluated by experienced faculty members and judges. The competitions encouraged teamwork, analytical thinking, coding proficiency, design thinking, innovation, and digital creativity.
Valedictory Function
The Valedictory Function was organized to recognize and celebrate the efforts and achievements of the participants. Winners and runners-up from the participating teams were awarded cash prizes and appreciation certificates, acknowledging their talent, dedication, and outstanding performances.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement, pride, and celebration as students were honored for their achievements.
